 Eligibility Requirements

  • You must reside within the Union City School District
  • Each registrant will be checked by a Board of Education verification officer to verity residency
  • Children must be 3 years old by September 1st for preschool
  • Children must be 4 years old by September 1st for prekindergarten
  • Children must be 5 years old by September 1st for kindergarten

 

Registration Procedures

  • Show proof of residence (utility bill, PSE&G)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization Records
  • Complete a registration form & give 2 emergency #’s where parents can be reached
  • Fill out the Home Language Survey which is a language assessment instrument
