Curriculum Themes
The preschool and prekindergarten curriculum is divided into ten thematic units. These units integrate the areas of literacy, math, health and science, social studies and physical education. The thematic units are illustrated in the table below:

A variety of preschool concepts have been incorporated into the themes. Children in preschool and pre-kindergarten will have the opportunity to engage in activities that promote the development of appropriate skills in the following areas:
- Gross motor
- Fine motor
- Expressive language
- Social independence
- Cognition
- Interactions
