Meteorologist Pedro Montoro from WNJU Telemundo 47 visited the Gilmore Academy today to discuss climate change with our DALE (Descubrir, Aspirar, Liderar, Explorar), bilingual students. On hand to welcome him to Union City was Superintendent S. Abbato, District Bilingual Supervisor Edernis Garcia & Ana Valle, UCHS World Language Supervisor Luisa Mendez, all the school Bilingual At-Risk Supervisors, and Coordinator of Community Engagement Ralph Passante.
He spoke with students about advancement in meteorology and the importance of climate control. He presented an informative presentation on the Importance of Climate Change with very convincing data.
