Parents

Parents of an Early Childhood Education student are just as important to us as the students themselves. There are several free programs and services offered: parenting classes and parent workshops on child development which supplies information that supports the whole family.

Additional support includes our crisis management assistance program. One “family worker” in every program provides support services for parents in the community. In a time of crisis the “family worker” will refer families to support services such as; help finding housing, obtaining social services, adult education, counseling, WIC, free medical services, etc.
